Creating Change Capability – Change Leadership and Innovation 2 – day programme
HRINZ is proud to present Creating Change Capability – a two-day programme in which ExperienceChange, the world’s leading Change Leadership workshop and Design Thinker, an award winning Innovation workshop will be presented by Peter Merry of Talent Strategies Limited, on 22-23 March in Wellington and again on 29-30 May in Auckland.
Workshop description: The world is increasingly complex and always changing. To succeed, leaders must innovatively scan their markets then change their organisations for competitive edge – without pause or hesitation. Change capability, the ability to seamlessly innovate and execute on-going change to advantage, has become a key leadership requirement.
ExperienceChange and Design Thinker are acclaimed one-day workshops that teach change leadership and innovation. They are used by leading companies and business schools world-wide, and apply cutting-edge technology to deliver focused and energising team learning experiences. ExperienceChange challenges delegates to review change theory, then tackle a real-world change initiative in a powerful and intensive simulation. Key lessons are learned through first-hand team experience.
In Design Thinker, delegates flex their design thinking skills to advise a town struggling to increase the sustainable behaviour of its citizens. In the process, they engage with the terms, techniques and thought-patterns of successful innovators – and understand that creativity can be learned! Design Thinker was co-developed by IDEO, a leading global design consultancy and won category Gold for best new product at the 2011 Edison Awards.
In the past decade, more than 50,000 leaders have relied on ExperienceChange leadership training to guide their organisational change strategy and execution.

Come and hear what worked well, and what didn’t work so well. Learn from the experts who
bore the brunt of the work during the two natural disasters – the Queensland Floods and the Christchurch Earthquakes. You cannot afford to miss this important event.
Visit specific sites in and around Christchurch on Wednesday 7 March, infrastructure and services that were vital to the recovery efforts. If you can only afford to spend one day, we have a specific package for Christchurch, and you can join us there.
LOGISTICS ARE AT THE HEART OF EVERYTHING WE DO
Those who register for the full conference, including the day in Christchurch, will be transported from Wellington to Christchurch and back by air at no extra cost over the full registration fee. We have 171 seats on the aircraft, so be quick to book and secure your place. If you are coming to Wellington by air, you can make your onwards plans from Christchurch at the end of the conference if you wish. However, as the charter aircraft is booked for the round trip no discounts for a one-way trip.
The conference dinner is being held on Monday evening, 5 March at the Amora Hotel, Wellington. This is included for those who register for the full conference. Those who register on day registration rates will need to book for the dinner separately. Corporate tables are available for the dinner. John Key will be Principal Guest.
